Historic footprint (surface disturbance) of mines across Alaska and portions of the Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, and northern British Columbia. Digital data are accessible in an online web mapping application allowing users to zoom in/out, pan, and identify individual areas of disturbance. Additionally, users can view the US Geological Survey's dataset of historic mines, prospects, and occurrences, the Alaska Resource Data File (ARDF).
